SIMULIA has available various Interfaces for many other applications including MSC.ADAMS, Moldflow, and MADYMO. Also a family of crash dummy models is available from FTSS which are used primarily for crash and occupant safety simulations.

In addition to the standard interfaces the Abaqus Unified FEA Suite enables users to develop their own custom applications or integrate into other software products available from the Alliance Partners. To help the users get the maximum benefit from this there are available a range of customisable Extensions for Abaqus, developed by SIMULIA. These offer productivity gains for specific industry simulations, for example sheet metal forming, printed wiring board (PWB) modelling, composite filament winding. Also there are available plug-ins, macros, and python scripts created by partners and end-users which are accessible on the Abaqus Process Automation Portal.
